The Duston Craftsman was born out of our previous life fitting out and refurbishing luxury canal boats and a life long passion for making furniture that began as a necessity, with a young man in his first home and no money. After years of travelling the length and breadth of the country repairing and re-fitting luxury boat interiors we decided to put down some roots and open a workshop dedicated to the making and fitting of beautiful furniture
All of our work is hand made in our workshop, using a combination of traditional joinery techniques and modern machinery based systems
to give you the highest quality at the most competitive price point. We work only with the best materials, from classic timbers such as oak, walnut and maple to modern sheet materials, each selected for suitability to your project, and available in a variety of finishes. The only limit is your imagination.

You will find us friendly, approachable and receptive to your ideas, whether big or small. The process starts with a brief discussion about what you would like, normally followed by a site visit to look at the area you have in mind and talk through options and ideas. We will follow this up with a written quotation.
We generally cover Northampton and outlying towns and villages, Towcester, Daventry, Market Harborough, Milton Keynes, but will travel anywhere for an interesting project.
